Due to its growing number of projects, Wiefferink b.v. in Oldenzaal is looking for a Project Engineer who has already gained some work experience and is ready to take the next step. You’ll oversee the entire project, from sales through installation. You’ll collaborate with colleagues, customers, suppliers, production, logistics, and the installation team. You’ll develop projects and see them come to life. Your RoleAs a Project Engineer, you serve as the link between the customer, production, logistics, installation, and service. Once the project is handed over by the sales team, you take charge and oversee it from both a technical and organizational perspective. You work independently but can always rely on experienced colleagues for support. In this role, you’ll gradually develop the skills needed to manage projects completely on your own. Due to the growing number of projects, we’re looking for a project engineer who knows how to get things done. You’ll work on a wide variety of projects involving solutions for the storage of gas, manure, water, sludge, and other liquids. You won’t just be sitting behind a computer screen—you’ll be in active contact with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. You’ll see firsthand in production and on-site how your drawings, schedules, and preparations are put into practice. That makes the work technically interesting and very varied. Here's what you'll be doing as a project engineer· Prepare and oversee projects from both a technical and organizational perspective;· Develop and review drawings and technical specifications;· Preparing and analyzing cost estimates (VC/NC) for projects;· Prepare and monitor project schedules;· Maintain contact with internal and external project partners;· Resolving technical questions and/or issues;· Identify risks in a timely manner and propose practical solutions;· Project administration, tracking project progress in Isah; What are you bringing?You have a technical background and are ready for a role that offers more responsibility. You don’t need to be an experienced project engineer yet: If you’re a go-getter, take the initiative, and are eager to grow, our experienced colleagues will help you take the next step.· A bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering;· 1 to 3 years of work experience as a technical work planner, technical draftsman, or in a similar position;· Technical insight and the ability to translate drawings into a workable solution;· A customer-focused approach;· Strong communication skills: you can easily switch between interacting with coworkers, customers, and suppliers;· A good command of the Dutch language is a must;· Knowledge of English and/or German is a plus; What We Offer· A full-time position in which you'll quickly be given your own projects and responsibilities;· a competitive salary commensurate with your education and experience;· 25 days off for full-time employees and 5 designated public holidays;· 8% vacation pay;· A 2% year-end bonus in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement;· A good pension plan through the Metal and Technology Pension Fund;· Day shift, with working hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.;· Effective guidance from experienced colleagues;· Opportunities for specialized training programs and courses, such as SolidWorks or project management;· A down-to-earth and dedicated team that welcomes your ideas.
