Job description: Ecommerce Operations Intern
Location: Amsterdam (Westerstraat)
Hours: 32–40 hours per week
Start date: As soon as possible

Great design deserves a great online experience.

At POLSPOTTEN, we create objects with character: conceived in Amsterdam and crafted by artisans around the world. Behind every online order is a well-organised operation. As our E-commerce Operations Intern, you'll help ensure our webshop, processes and customer journey continue to improve every day.
You'll work closely with our E-commerce, Marketing and Customer Service teams, gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas of an international e-commerce business. You'll contribute to the daily operation of our webshop, identify opportunities for improvement and learn what it takes to run a successful online store behind the scenes.

About POLSPOTTEN

What started as a ceramics shop on Amsterdam's Herenstraat has grown into an international, bold and expressive interior design brand. From tableware to lighting, from vases to furniture, we create joyful, daring designs that bring personality to interiors around the world. Our collections are sold in more than 65 countries through leading concept stores, platforms and department stores.
With a team of around 25 colleagues, we work in an informal, straightforward and hands-on environment from our office in the heart of Amsterdam.

The internship

During this hands-on internship, you'll become a fully integrated member of our E-commerce team. You'll support the day-to-day operation of our webshop while helping improve processes, website performance and the overall customer experience. You'll collaborate with different departments, take ownership of your work and have plenty of opportunities to contribute your own ideas.
No two days are the same. One day you'll support performance marketing campaigns, the next you'll optimise website content, assist Customer Service or analyse operational processes to identify improvements. This internship offers a broad introduction to how an international e-commerce business operates.
