Job description: Junior Controller
Location: Amsterdam (Westerstraat)
Hours: 32–40 hours per week
Start date: As soon as possible
Design with character calls for finance with character.
At POLSPOTTEN, we create objects with character: conceived in Amsterdam and crafted by artisans around the world. As a Junior Controller, you'll help bring that same level of care and precision to our financials. You'll be the connecting link between our day-to-day accounting and the financial management of the brand. Does this sound like your next step?
About POLSPOTTEN
What started as a ceramics shop on Amsterdam's Herenstraat has grown into an international, bold and expressive interior design brand. From tableware to lighting, from vases to furniture, we create joyful, daring designs that bring personality to interiors around the world. Our collections are sold in more than 65 countries through leading concept stores, platforms and department stores.
With a team of around 25 colleagues, we work in an informal, straightforward and hands-on environment from our office in the heart of Amsterdam.
The role
As a Junior Controller, you'll be an important hands-on member of our small finance team. You'll work closely with and under the guidance of our Finance Lead. You'll start by building a solid foundation in the day-to-day financial administration and gradually grow into preparing reports and financial analyses. This allows you to gain a thorough understanding of both the business and its financials.
This is a broad learning role with plenty of room for development. You'll receive the guidance as well as the responsibility to gradually grow into a fully-fledged Controller.
