Job Description: Operations Lead
Department: Operations & Supply Chain
Location: Amsterdam (with the possibility of partial remote work)
Reports to: Product & Supply Chain Director

Purpose of the Role
As Operations Lead, you are responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and optimizing the operational logistics processes within POLSPOTTEN. From both a transport and warehousing perspective, you ensure an efficient and reliable flow of goods from supplier to customer.

You oversee inbound and outbound performance, optimize transport and fulfilment processes, and maintain daily contact with our 3PL warehouse partner. Through close collaboration with logistics partners, sales, customer service, and supply chain teams, you contribute to a scalable, predictable, and commercially effective operation.

Key Responsibilities

Transport & Inbound Operations

• Coordinating and monitoring inbound and outbound transport flows for all POLSPOTTEN products.
• ·Responsible for inbound container planning and monitoring arrival schedules.
• Coordinating and optimizing the inbound container consolidation process.
• Monitoring inbound OTIF performance and proactively adjusting where needed.
• Aligning with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to safeguard supply chain continuity.
• Identifying operational risks and proactively anticipating disruptions within transport and delivery processes.
• Coordinating special outbound customer requirements and ensuring correct execution within agreed deadlines.

Warehouse & Fulfilment Operations


• Maintaining daily contact with our 3PL warehouse partner in the Netherlands.
• Monitoring and improving the performance of the order fulfilment process.
• Responsible for outbound OTIF and safeguarding delivery reliability towards customers.
• Improving operational efficiency within order and warehouse processes.
• Setting up and managing a structured pallet administration and monitoring logistics data accuracy.
• Optimizing the E-commerce fulfilment process to improve speed, quality, and scalability.
• Analyzing operational KPIs and translating insights into concrete improvement actions.

• Strong organizational skills: Able to maintain overview across multiple operational processes simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills: Effectively collaborates with logistics partners, warehouses, and internal stakeholders.
• Analytical and data-driven: Uses data to monitor and improve processes.
• Hands-on mentality: Takes ownership and is not afraid to operationally adjust where needed.
• Structured and process-driven: Brings structure and efficiency to daily operational activities.

Experience & Background


• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar operations, logistics, or supply chain role.
• Experience within a wholesale, interior, or consumer goods environment is a plus.
• Experience with transport coordination, warehousing, and 3PL management.

Systems & Tools


• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• Experience with Exact is a plus.
• Experience with warehouse or transport management systems is a plus.
