The role

As Finance Lead, you will play a crucial role in further building and professionalizing our financial organization. You are a finance professional who not only reports on what is happening, but also actively thinks about how processes can become smarter, more efficient, and future-proof.
Within this role, you will also be responsible for optimizing our ERP system (Exact Globe), in close collaboration with external partners.
You are an important sparring partner for the management team and contribute directly to both operational and strategic decision-making.

What will you do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Prepare management reports, forecasts, and financial analyses
• Responsible for cash flow management and liquidity planning
• Monitor budgets and support the annual budgeting process
• Act as a sparring partner for the management team
• Coordinate the annual accounts process together with the external accountant
• Improve management information and reporting structures
• Further professionalize and automate financial processes and internal controls
• Identify risks and improvement opportunities within the organization
• Manage and develop the finance team
• Responsible for IT, data, and system optimization

Who are you

• HBO/WO level of working and thinking in a financial field
• Extensive relevant work experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting
• ·Experience with ERP systems and financial automation; experience with Exact Globe is a strong plus
• Strong analytical skills, accurate, and process-oriented
• Strong communication skills and able to engage with stakeholders at different levels
• Proactive, hands-on, and takes ownership
• Strong in identifying and implementing improvements
• Fluent in Dutch and comfortable communicating in English
• Available for at least 32 hours per week
