As we continue to build on our creative direction and strengthen our collections, we are looking for a Senior Designer to join our Studio team.
The role
As Senior Designer, you play a key role in shaping our collections across a wide range of product categories; from tableware and decorative objects to furniture and lighting.
You combine strong creative instincts with a highly collaborative mind-set. You understand that great design is rarely created in isolation: you can work from creative as well as commercial briefings, you embrace feedback, and work closely with the Creative Director, Product Development team, and our global network of makers.
You are confident enough to lead, yet grounded enough to listen.

The role
As Senior Designer, you play a key role in shaping our collections across a wide range of product categories; from tableware and decorative objects to furniture and lighting.

You understand that great design is rarely created in isolation: you can work from creative as well as commercial briefings, you embrace feedback, and work closely with the Creative Director, Product Development team, and our global network of makers.

What you’ll do
- Design and develop products across multiple categories (tableware, vases, lighting, furniture, and more).
- Translate creative direction and commercial input into tangible, production-ready designs.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Product Development, External Designers, and our network of suppliers all over the world.
- Work directly with manufacturers on materials, finishes, and technical development. Your task is to listen well, understand better, and challenge convention.
- Guide projects from concept through sampling to final production including packaging. You are responsible for the design sheets as well as the planning: deadlines have to be met.
- Mentor and support more junior designers within the team.
- Contribute to the evolution of the POLSPOTTEN design language
- Travel may be part of the role over time

Your experience
- Significant experience as a designer within the interior or product design field.
- Proven track record in designing across multiple product categories.
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and production techniques.
- Experience working directly with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Understanding of creative, technical and commercial aspects of product development.
